~ with Carol, Dhyana
Since the beginning of May it's felt like life has been moving on double time, which is great on the dance floor but in everyday life it can be too much too fast. So these moments around the new moon like the one we are approaching this week are an especially delicious and vital opportunity to sink into a feminine yin space of feeling, receptivity, and flow. Wherever you are in your life, wherever you find yourself this midsummer, we invite you to take time to nurture your feminine body and spirit.
We will be gathering outdoors in the beautiful Hudson River Park on Pier 64 at west 24th street to take a journey with the elements into our Womb Medicine Wheels: the microcosm of the tree of life and wheel of life that lives within us and is influenced by everything from our past lovers, environments, self care, connection with the spirit realm - everything! When we learn our elemental gifts and weave them together we can truly travel through the portals of our wombs to access all of our creative powers. Hudson river park brings all of these elements to us as well, so we don't just have to imagine into them, we can palpably experience them with the setting sun, the flowing water, the soft grassy earth and the birds and breezes.
We'll also be crafting dream pillows with sacred mugwort and lavender which help us to sleep and dream more deeply and actively work with the medicine of our dream-time. Doing this midsummer merges the yin with the yang :)
