Releasing the Sword to Reclaim the Waters of Birth

The Lady of the Lake is steeped in a rich history of stories told from a patriarchal prospective, of the wounded warriors turning against the heroine who offered the sword that saved and protected a kingdom. Hidden within the myth, there is the older story of one who protects the feminine waters. As she receives the deadly sword, The Lady of the Lake restores balance in the world. By dissolving the wounded masculine's call to arms, a kingdom at war becomes a queendom of peace.

Now this feminine energy is re-emerging with her story and her balm. We are understanding the real story of the Ladies of the Lake who are now returning as we awaken to birth a new Earth. They are the breaking waters of this beautiful birth.

A great shift is occurring. We can feel it in our wombs when we tune in and feel everything unfolding around the world. We see it everywhere in the obvious and the subtle.

During the opening ceremony of the Fountain of Life Womb of New Earth Retreat, I was initiated into a deep Shamanic Journey by The Eye of the Horse. It was nighttime, and we gathered in a circle to grieve for Gaia, to release the pain of Gaia and her children and afterwards to receive messages from the Spirit of the Aniyunwiya, the Ancient Cherokee tribe who were once here in the Great Mother Mountain of Appalachia where we gathered. I want to share a blog post here from The Fountain of Life about a story my husband wrote. The article discusses the journey of the wounded masculine which is important to heal. Without tending to the divine masculine we cannot hope to restore and anchor the divine feminine within ourselves and on this planet.

Fred Kluth's story poignantly reveals the archetypal, ancestral, mythic and personal struggles of man's war and his separation from love. With these insights we can have empathy for ourselves and each other, and deepen our sacred relationship to the divine masculine.

New Beginnings

Getting started isn't always easy. In fact, it never has been easy for me. I still remember - when in grade school I had trouble getting out of bed, getting dressed and getting to class - the time I walked to school in my pajamas. Or when I used to get new notebooks at the beginning of the year in high school, and get all organized, only to slowly become more discombobulated as I struggled to maintain order in a sensible way, to categorize and memorialize everything I was learning. By the time I graduated with a 'Master's Degree in Fine Arts' I was terrified of beginning to live my life. What had I been doing all those years?

Now I find myself here. Beginning again. Getting started was easy this time. I let it evolve organically. I learned to trust the flow and process and timing of allowing things to unfold and blossom in their own time as everything falls into place. New beginnings aren't always smooth sailing but sometimes, this time, there is joy and excitement in the birth.

May it be rooted in the earth and birthed through the womb.
