The momentous energy surge to protect the waters at Standing Rock against the corporate forces working to build an oil pipeline through sacred lands of the Sioux tribe, at this Samhain time when the veil is thin between our world and the spirit world, has led many to call upon the ancestors, to pray and come together in unprecedented ways. For the first time, the tribes are gathering in a unified peaceful protest against a mirror of an injustice that first occurred generations ago. May we all stay connected to Love and Life as our greatest truths. May we all be vulnerable enough to feel our deepest feelings, lean in for support, see the greater (or sometimes lesser) energies at play, and be brave enough to know when we are wrong, know when we are right, and have the courage to explore it all. Above all else may we choose harmony as spiritual beings in this material existence and never stop loving ourselves. Love and support in the great unknown going out to you all. We offer a prayer to our Ancestors. We all need guidance. Help us to make wise choices that will sustain all life on Earth Help those with the power to effect great change to see clearly with their hearts connected to their power. Help us to select our true leaders. Guide the journalists and media to uncover and report Truth. Now while the veil is thin, Hear our prayer, And allow us to tune in, To the wisdom within. May we hear Spirit speak to us In all the subtle ways of Nature. May our hearts grow roots, And like Trees, Discover we are all a family. Dear Ancestors that came before us. Give us the courage to heal the past And stand together. We seem to be a nation polarized. There are energies at play that would like for us to believe and act as if we are separate from each other, to keep us fighting on opposite teams, ignorant of hidden truths because we are too preoccupied to see clearly. The Ladies of the Lake ask us to lay down our swords and reflect in her waters.
